DLF Public School celebrated its 24th Foundation Day on January 15, 2020 on the occasion of 90th Birth Anniversary of the eminent educationist and visionary, Late Sh. Darbari Lalji, the inspiration behind the school. The school braced itself for its silver jubilee year with great fanfare. Chairman Mr. Rakesh Khullar, Executive Director, Dr. Mrignaini and Principal Seema Jerath along with the school guild and teachers paid homage to the great patriarch. The day turned out to be more eventful as it unfolded the school’s achievements over the last 24 years and glanced over its future aspirations. While the co-scholastic stars presented a gala cultural show, 400 proud Student Scholars were felicitated for their consistent academic excellence and over 50 meritorious students were awarded with merit certificates for their outstanding performances in CBSE Class X and XII Board exams. Mr. Rajeev Khurana, a certified international management consultant, CEO and Founder, The Personnel Lab was invited to be the Chief Guest along with Ms. Raj Rani Sharma, a well-known environmentalist who was the special guest for the day. Mr. Khurana during his inspirational discourse emphasized that to become a successful individual one should develop a sense of curiosity, a positive attitude, strong determination, a sense of responsibility, interpersonal skills to team up with one’s academic excellence for imbibing a holistic personality and conducive life skills. Principal, Seema Jerath shared that, ‘It gives me immense pleasure to observe that our vision of education that intended to realize each child’s unique potential, seems to be manifesting with outcomes that are visible and evident in our existing Delfites as also in our alumni.’
