17th Guild Sworn in at the Investiture Ceremony

The 17th School Guild was decorated and sworn in at the DLF Public School’s Investiture Ceremony with 89 deserving Delfites assuming leadership and commitment to make their school more happier, safer and compassionate. The predecessors handed over the school pennants to the new guild. In order to make leadership more diversified and accountable, the powers of Students’ Executive Council were vested upon the House Leaders this session. Principal Seema Jerath conferred badges upon the newly appointed school guild. Wishing them a great journey ahead, she affirmed, ‘leadership is the ability to use yourself such that you become useful to others. One can learn to balance life best if he learns to assume leadership in all transactions of his learning. Thinking of alternatives when things do not give desired outcomes and finding solutions rather than faults, translates into the making of a good leader’. She concluded saying, ‘Make this world your classroom. Go, learn and grow into leaders’. The newly empowered house captains promised to live upto the school’s vision and mission as they pledged to commit themselves to revive in their peers, an attitude for gratitude, spread cyber safety awareness and propel the school’s four pronged constituent of the Compassionate Ghaziabad Initiative, taken up by the school.
